And Then There were Four…

And Then There Were Four…

I believe Dave Barnes says it best.

Our sweet, blue eyed family of three is so thrilled to announce that we will be making room for a fourth.  In July of 2014 we will be welcoming Baby Blue Eyes into the world.

Rejoice in the Lord always.  I will say it again: Rejoice!

~Philippians 4:4~

In a time when it is so difficult for many couples to get pregnant God has blessed Mr. Blue Eyes and I with a baby.  As a woman I was nervous about whether or not I would be able to get pregnant  and admittedly we were a bit shocked when we took that first positive pregnancy test, which turned quickly to pure joy… We rejoiced!

Timing…As many of you know we just moved to Florida, over 1,000 miles away from our families.  Many would think that this is not the ideal time for us to add to our family, however God’s timing is perfect.  We feel so blessed that God has put us in charge of this little Blue Eyed Baby (or whatever eye color 🙂 ).  Our faith tells us that we will have strength through Him,  to raise this sweet, little baby for His kingdom.

With our joy overflowing it was hard to keep our secret quiet.  We waited a few weeks before telling our immediate families and then at Christmas we surprised both our extended families with the news! We used our Christmas card to surprise everyone which was designed by Twinspiring Desgin (Etsy).  I absolutely loved our Christmas card design created by Twinspiring Design, seriously Brittany, the shop owner, was so wonderful to work with! She was fast (like emailed me back within minutes of my emails), knowledgeable and really took what I wanted and put a twist on it! I highly recommend this shop if you are looking for custom designed stationary and invitations.

I have seen these chalkboard updates all over Pinterest and wanted to join in the fun! I headed to Hobby Lobby and found this chalkboard on clearance (Yay!)! It totally works with our beachy decor so it will definitely make an appearance in our house even after Baby Blue Eyes is born!

After we finished announcing Baby Blue Eyes arrival to all our family members! Whew, it was exhausting!

Feeling Blessed!

Happy Friday Friends.
