Favorite Pins Friday

Favorite Pins Friday!

Yes, I know I am on time for a linky party!  I can’t believe it either.  It is time for another Favorite Pins Friday hosted by everyone’s favorite, Cara Carroll from The First Grade Parade.

To Teach:

Can't wait to get these going in the Fall!

Can’t wait to get these going in the Fall!

I hate to admit this but I have never had a listening center in my classroom and I have been teaching for 4 years (don’t judge 🙂 ).  The schools I have taught in never required centers and with all of the curriculum I could not find time.  Well, I am so happy because at my new school I will have time for a listening center.  When I saw this post I was ecstatic.  Technology is a critical tool in the classroom for my little ones.  My sweet Firsties will be so excited to rock out with their favorite stories on their own iPod Shuffle! Risking Failure, thanks for the great information and idea.

What a great getting to know you idea!

What a great getting to know you idea!

4mulafun provided this cute idea.  It will allow the students to get to know me and me to get to know my new little ones.  I think I will need to make a template or some sort of Firstie appropriate version!

To Giggle:

Seriously does it get any better?!

Seriously does it get any better?!

Oh my word, this wrapping paper cracks me up.  It pairs two of my favorite things together… hamburgers and presents (hehe just kidding).  But no seriously Mr. Blue Eyes and I love hamburgers.  This will be the perfect wrapping paper for Mr. Blue Eyes next birthday! Design Milk provided this giggly gift wrap.

To Eat:

Yummy goodness.

Yummy goodness.

Living in Wisconsin we make a lot of soups in the fall, winter and spring (yes, I know depressing).  Our Crockpots go into overdrive.  When I saw this soup I knew it did not have to stay in the cold it will be perfect in the Florida Fall.  The chicken and avocado make it light and warm weather friendly! Yum… Thank you Mama Miss my stomach is officially growling.

To Move:

Amazing tip!

Amazing tip!

This is my favorite tip that I found on Pinterest for our big move down south.  It made it so easy to pack up our hanging clothes.  It keeps them clean and holds them together.  Hangers falling all over seriously bugs me.  I believe this pin was from Iowa Girl Eats please let me know if it is different!

To Do:

Future Craft?!?

Future Craft?!?

If you have looked at the posts about our wedding you know that I love burlap.  Thank you Cottage and Vine for these adorable place mats.  They are going to be the perfect addition to our new home decor.  Now I am trying to decide if I am going to make them more general or gear them toward a specific holiday?! Tough choices.

To Wear:

Those booties?!? Swoon....

Those booties?!? Swoon….

I can not get over these booties.  Need them now! So adorable.  Love the way they look with the jeans, a comfy sweater and bag.  I will take one of everything! 😉 Thanks The Forest is Home for this seriously great style picture.

Seriously I love blue.... any variety! This is such a casual, comfy outfit.

Seriously I love blue…. any variety! This is such a casual, comfy outfit.

Go Chic or Go Home has provided this awesome style pic.  Comfy, casual, and my favorite color… Yes, please! So cute, now I just have to check my closet for these pieces.

To Live:

Excited for our new adventure.

This phrase says it all.  30a, the area of Florida where we are moving is known for their amazing beach bonfires.  I can not wait to get down there and hopefully have a bonfire with the Blue Eyed Brood.
So Stinkin' Cute

So Stinkin’ Cute

Mr. Blue Eyes and I are really love … well obsessed with Baby Blue (our weimaraner).  Baby Blue is seriously missing Mr. Blue Eyes because he has been down in Florida since May.  We are counting down the days (6!!!!!!!) until he arrives back in Wisconsin.  Then we are packing up and heading down.  Baby Blue doesn’t have any idea what is coming (a 17 hour car ride… yikes), a new adventure and home in Florida.  This picture gave me a bit of a glimpse into our new life and I can not wait to see our little Baby Blue playing in the sand and surf.  The original source of this picture can not be found so if you know please let me know! 🙂

Have an amazing weekend. Hopefully next time I write I will have Mr. Blue Eyes with me!
