Baby Blue Eyes and I attended our first baby shower on Sunday! It was such a beautiful way to celebrate Mother’s Day. The shower was hosted by our amazing Florida family, Mr. Blue Eyes auntie and 3 cousins. You might be wondering about the title of this post, it has nothing to do with any sort of spawn it is simply because the shower took place in Rosemary Beach, Florida. 🙂

Walking into the house Baby Blue Eyes and I were greeted by this amazing display of food. Our sweet hostesses made sure to include all our favorite goodies and cravings. Some of my favorites were the boneless wings (oh-my-yummy) and my aunties specialty popcorn (my absolute fave)! If you have never tried popcorn with Redhot and parmesan you are missing out. You can check out my sister-in-laws blog, Married to French, for more in-depth directions on how to make it!
There was also an amazing display of fruits with yummy dips and veggies. But seriously don’t get me started on the sweets. The cupcakes were unbelievably delicious with an amazing, light frosting on top. My adorable cousin made a homemade-double-fudge chocolate cake with heath sprinkles on top. It was out of this world. I have never tasted cake that moist!
Those are my amazing family members and hosts! They did an unbelievable job and would have given Martha a run for her money!
They had a beautiful bar set-up with all the fixings for Mimosas. It was a shame that I couldn’t partake but I enjoyed an orange juice spritzer.
The shower took place in the gorgeous courtyard at the house. Could this -BE- more beautiful (insert your best Chandler Bing expression). My hosts also carried out our nursery colors and decor so elegantly. Every little detail was thought out and meticulously planned, even everyone’s outfits! haha
The diaper cake team building activity was my favorite! On the table they had all the ingredients you need to create a adorable diaper cake and so the party guests worked together to make it happen!
It turned out so well! I might be biased but I think it is the most adorable diaper cake I have ever seen.
A few of the party guests…don’t mind me with my mouth stuffed full of chicken!
Two of the hosts starting the first game. For this game they spelled out the words Baby Schlosser and put a baby item in each bag beginning with that particular letter (Example: B-Bib). It was really fun and hard…shhh don’t tell Baby Blue Eyes but I lost. I need to work on my baby product knowledge.
The day was beautiful and the shower was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to my amazing family for hosting Baby and I. What a blessing it is to have this support system here!
I hope you enjoyed a peek into our first shower! There are 3 more to come (yes, we are completely spoiled and Baby Blue Eyes is so loved already)!
